Membership
Are you an established professional wanting to make positive changes in the local community and around the world?
Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group of professionals who share your drive to give back.
It all begins at the weekly club meeting, where members catch up with friends, hear what's happening in their community, and organize club activities and service projects.
As a member, you'll find opportunities to network and develop your professional skills. You can take the lead in developing projects, organizing events, and running your club. Through these activities, you'll hone your project planning skills, improve your public speaking, and even learn new skills, like public relations, social media, and fundraising.
We accept new members by invitation, so we recommend you first reach out to our Membership Director to learn more. It's not only a good way to get to know us—it's also a great way to get involved in the local Leongatha community!
Leongatha Rotary meets once a week at Woorayl Golf Club for dinner where you'll be able to:
-
Discuss the local community's needs and discover creative ways to meet them
-
Expand your leadership and professional skills
-
Catch up with good friends and meet new ones
"My favorite thing about Rotary is that it's an efficient use of my time. All at once, I'm creating new friendships, making new business contacts, learning how my community works, and participating in the world."
‘The "Four-Way Test" challenges Rotarians, in everything they do, to ask of themselves:
-
Is it the TRUTH?
-
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
-
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
-
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?
